RUNCL Titan II Spinning Reel Preview - New for 2020

Meet Titan II spinning reel. It succeeds the Titan I, but more than just Titan I. With the successful experience accumulated from the first generation of Titan spinning reel, RUNCL upgraded the fishing reel series to the next level.

The first difference you may find between Titan I and Titan II spinning reels is its spool. Titan II is constructed with a metal braid grip on the spool, which is angler-friendly and ready to prevent the braid from slipping, you will never have to bother using a monofilament backer or tape to the spool. Also, the hollow pattern on the spool has been adjusted from the original large shape to the current smaller ones to keep the body protected from the dirt, with a slight change in weight.

Like the Titan I, the Titan II features a built-in R.E.S.S. (RUNCL Entire Shield System), offers exceptional protection for the main body of the reel to help keep water and sand out, makes it possible for saltwater fishing.

Improved Process - The TITAN II spinning reel is constructed of two-color anodized after polishing and precision-machined single-piece frame and machined aluminum spool. The surface of the rotor component is protected by phosphating coating for enhanced wear resistance. 168-hour Salt Mist Test effectively prevents the spinning reel from saltwater corrosion

Butter Smooth Construction - 9+1 precise stainless steel bearings are shielded on both sides to protect from debris fouling up the operation of the bearing. At the same time, the bearing system together with the NCTM (No Clearance Transmission Mechanism) solid brass pinion gears, strengthened aluminum drivetrain, and 20% thicker stainless steel main shaft in RUNCL TITAN II spinning reel deliver uninterrupted and balanced performance.

Super Power Drag: The drag is built out of a tightly toleranced stack of stainless steel and carbon fiber washers (3 carbon fiber washers in size 2000 and 3000, 5 carbon fiber washers in size 4000, 5000, and 6000) that fit locked together. The result is a drag that is able to lockdown at the high end of 44lbs, allowing you to keep the pressure on fish without worrying too much about your line breaking on a sudden surge.

Titan II spinning reel has the same size choices with Titan I spinning reel from 2000 to 6000, and it’s expected to be available for purchase on Amazon in late August 2020.
